New Marine Generator Range Arrives at Fremantle Power Systems

Fremantle Power Systems is pleased to announce the arrival of our new range of compact marine diesel generators, now available in Australia.

The first shipment includes four models ranging from 7kW to 13.5kW, offering reliable onboard power solutions for recreational vessels, commercial fishing boats, workboats, charter vessels and a wide range of marine applications.

Powered by proven Yanmar diesel engines and housed in low-noise acoustic enclosures, these generators have been selected to provide boat owners and operators with dependable electrical power, compact installation dimensions and straightforward maintenance.

Designed for Life at Sea

Marine environments are unforgiving. Saltwater, humidity and vibration can quickly expose weaknesses in equipment that may perform perfectly well on land.

One enhancement we specifically requested during production was the addition of a 316 stainless steel base frame on every unit.

Many marine generators rely on painted mild steel bases. Over time, particularly in damp engine rooms and bilge spaces, corrosion can begin at the base of the generator and progressively damage the installation.

By upgrading to a corrosion-resistant stainless steel foundation, we have improved the long-term durability of the generator and reduced one of the common maintenance concerns encountered in marine applications.

The OY Series generators supplied by Fremantle Power Systems are powered by Yanmar marine diesel engines, recognised worldwide for their reliability, fuel efficiency and extensive service network.

These engines are paired with high-quality marine alternators and mounted within compact sound-attenuated enclosures, delivering quiet and dependable operation whether the vessel is underway, at anchor or operating in a commercial environment.
